In conjunction with the Energetica Walking and Wildlife Festival, this is a one-off opportunity to see the wonderful north east coastline from a small boat. On leaving the vibrant port of Aberdeen we head north to the Don and Ythan estuaries, up towards the villages of Collieston, and Cruden Bay before passing the magnificent cliffs at Bullars of Buchan. This trip finishes at Peterhead.
The second tour will begin at Peterhead and end at Aberdeen and bus transport is available to return passengers on both tours to their original destination.
The truly unique part of this activity will be the wildlife on view. Seals, gannets, puffins and auks will be our constant companions and, if conditions are right, we may even witness a feeding frenzy with hundreds of birds targeting large shoals of small fish. We can expect to come across minkie whale, harbour porpoise and the bottlenose dolphin. Risso’s dolphin and humpback whale are both possible too! Adults and children (recommended 10yrs+) will be fascinated by this experience. Don’t forget your camera, binoculars, sun cream and refreshments.
Please note there are two trips available to book. One departing from Aberdeen and sailing to Peterhead and another departing from Peterhead and sailing to Aberdeen.
